Woodlake Boardwalk Decking Project
This PermaTimber® boardwalk is the latest addition to the beautiful scenery at Woodlake Park in Ellenbrook, Western Australia. The boardwalk features 750sqm of PermaTimber® 225mm wide teak decking, in conjuction with 400 lineal metres of our PermaStruct® FRP handrail system in a custom colour that is sympathetic with the decking and surrounds.
Specially designed to curve around a nature reserve in the shape of a dodecagon (an Australian 50c piece), the boardwalk was commissioned by the City of Swan shire. The project was a solution to a prior natural timber boardwalk that had split and warped in the weather.
